ISN collaborated this year during the IB Diploma Research Sciences Group 4 Project with the Heidelberger Privatschulcentrum (HPC). DP 1 students from HPC, with their mentor Amogha, joined us on Friday, 6th December 2019.
The Group 4 project is a collaborative and multidisciplinary activity, which encourages IB science students to appreciate the environmental, social and ethical implications of science. Under the theme “Sustainability” our learning partners investigated a wide range of topics, e.g. “Production of soap from environmental friendly materials” or “Efficient desalination of sea water”, theoretically as well as experimentally. After one and a half school days the groups were proudly presenting the insight they had gained on their topic.
We would like to thank ISN and HPC teachers and students for the pleasant successful collaboration, that will hopefully become a tradition in the coming years!
