We have all been following the awful news of the recent events in Afghanistan, and the international effort to rescue people from the terrifying situation in which they find themselves. There are currently many thousands of refugees living on base in Ramstein who fled their homes with nothing. As a result, one of our parents who has a connection to the base suggested that we could organise a donation drive at short notice to collect some of the most urgently needed items. Our school community rose to the challenge, and within four days we had three car loads of clothing and shoes, coats and blankets, bottles and nappies and soft toys ready to go! We have been blown away once again by the generosity of our parents, and cannot thank them enough.
